I met this wonderful family of five – yes, Dakota is part of the family – when our little ones were still in preschool at Sandy Hill Nursery School in Solana Beach. After many carpool rides to and fro, the kids have now moved on to different schools, but we stay in touch and keep tabs on all the latest adventures. We had a wonderful session incorporating a little bit of “green” up on the cliffs of Del Mar, CA at Powerhouse Park and then moved down to a beautiful sunset beach photography session where the girls showed me some of their talented dance moves. Dakota did fantastic both as part of the images and while she sat next to me with her leash around my ankle — while I photographed the rest of her family all the while hoping she wouldn’t find any of the dogs passing by more interesting then hanging out with me!
